The conduction system is a collection of nodes and specialised conduction cells that initiate and co-ordinate contraction of the heart muscle.
It consists of:
- Sinoatrial node
- Atrioventricular node
- Atrioventricular bundle (bundle of His)
- Purkinje fibres
